John Greene UCD, 2010 Golfer of the Year
The Irish Colleges Golf Association is in place to encourage competitive golfers to continue to practice and pursue their chosen sport while in College and University. The ICGA offers these young golfers the opportunity to play golf to a very high standard while pursuing their studies.
Universities and Colleges from throughout the entire island of Ireland compete in the ICGA intervarsity league. The intervarsity competition is scratch match-play, each team consisting of five players for men and three players for ladies.
