Mark served a four year apprenticeship in Carlow Golf Club and qualified at the Belfry in 1994.

He took up the position of head pro in Cill Dara golf club in 1996 and moved to The Heath Golf Club August 2002. Assistant professional Shane Peacock came on board recently and between the two of them have enjoyed a very busy season combining teaching and shop duties. The ten bay indoor driving range and top quality putting green make The Heath Golf Club a very attractive venue to work on all aspects of your game.

A well stocked pro shop provides for all the customers needs from the latest gadgets up to the most modern technology in equipment. The clothing section includes such leading brands as Ping, Ashworth, Glenmuir, Green Lamb and lzod. 

Club cresting is available on all garments and we can have your logo embroidered onto most Items to give that company day out or society an extra touch, be it logo balls, shirts, caps or pullovers. 

A full fleet of pull carts in supply with buggy and club hire also available. An extensive repair section is always on hand with shop and lesson vouchers providing the option for that difficult present you have to buy.
