The Trilby Tour has, in the space of just three years, risen to be the best open amateur golf tournament in the UK and is the brain-child of Savile Row tailor and designer William Hunt.The Trilby Tour gives amateurs the chance of hitting the big time.

The Slieve Russell has hosted some major European Challenge Tour and Irish PGA Tournaments. These include, the Buzz.com North West of Ireland Open, the Irish PGA Championship and also the Quinn Insurance PGA Charity Pro-Am, which has been held since 1997 and has now become an annual event boasts the highest prize fund for Irish PGA Professionals.
