Eddie Brophy
Eddie was elected a junior member of Enniscorthy Golf Club in 1983. He represented the club at all team levels up to Senior Cup and Barton Shield. After leaving school, he became assistant professional in Wexford before returning to his native Enniscorthy to qualify as a PGA golf professional and provide a new and fresh outlet, for golfers of all levels requiring golf lessons in Wexford.
Coaching Background
Using his own unique golf lesson and coaching techniques, Eddie has assisted many individuals and teams to reach their potential. He has given lessons to and coached underage Irish Internationals Ciara Sharkey and Graham Donohoe from Wexford.
Eddie has given lessons at the Irish Open and also given lessons at the European Golf Open and worked with, coached and given lessons to many teams, mainly from Co.Wexford, whom have acheived National titles.
Golf Lessons
Since leaving Enniscorthy Golf Club, Eddie has continued to teach successfully providing golf lessons in Wexford from Garrylough Driving Range and Ballymoney, Gorey, Wexford. Eddie offers golf lessons in Wexford on individual and group basis and runs Junior Golf Ireland Coaching Sessions in Garrylough and Seafield Golf Courses, both in Wexford. Eddie has worked and continues to work with the Junior Section of Borris Golf Club for the last number of years. Eddie also offers a corporate golf package upon application.
Eddie has continued to work with the PGA and during further studies and training has achieved the status of AA professional with the PGA.
