Backspin Magazine which focuses on the Irish Golf Market has introduced an Irish Course Rankings Poll.
The magazine took an unusual approach to their first Irish Golf Course Rankings in that they ranked the quality and variety of Ireland's Links and Parkland courses separately. A panel of 52 professional and amateur golfers joined by members of the Irish Golfing Media were asked to nominate their favourite courses in both categories. courses that impress and delight the most in order of preference.
We are pleased to announce that Mount Juliet Golf Course achieved poll position Number One in the Parkland/Inland Top 40 golf courses in Ireland and are delighted to have won this prestigious award particularly as it is the first time Backspin has carried out such a poll.
We congratulate Royal County Down who achieved poll position number 1 in the Links / Shoreline Top 30 golf courses in Ireland and wish to thank Backspin magazine for the honour bestowed on Mount Juliet.
